Everybody welcome. Come in. Sit down and die??
This is why it was necessary for me to have a camera phone.

If I have not told you how amazing it is to work at Integrity Music lately, let me take the time to do so now. AMAZING.
I love that every Wednesday morning we have chapel and the owner of our company shares his heart with the staff. Today was so timely and so powerful. First, Carlos led worship for us. Can’t wait to tell you more about that later. Mike began talking about the power of forgiveness. Here are a few notes that I hope will rock your world the same way they rocked mine:
There is a terrible downward cycle that follows this order: Expectations that we have about someone or some thing are not met (either your mistreated or you have been wronged) which creates the opportunity to forgive or not to forgive. If we do not forgive, Hurt and Disappointment set in. The state of not forgiving someone then [...]
When a young man stood still,
To stop a tank on Tiananmen Square,
Did you stand up and cheer,
Did you protest with him - did you care?
When a young girl is gang raped,
In the silent violent Darfur night,
Do you feel her pain - her shame,
Do you shout at your leaders this is not right?
When a nation values truth and justice,
Then tortures a captive in a concrete cell,
Where were your values of honor,
Where were they as the nation descended into hell?
When you look at your image in the mirror,
What is reflected there that grasps your mind,
In the light of reason - the path of light,
Has it so dimmed that reality has left you blind?
When the newspaper white washes wrong,
Casting half truths on paper printed with soy ink,
Must you use it to wrap odious fish offal,
Or does the smell of their craft already stink?
When your leaders carp about their party,
The same words that Stalin [...]
Ricky Martin, the Puerto Rican Menudo graduate who gets white folk to shake their “bom-boms”, announced he is the happy father of twin boys.
Martin used a surrogate mother and will be taking the rest of the year off to be a daddy. He is 36 years old.
I’m starting to believe the gay rumors. I would love to be Ricky’s fag-hag.
Or maybe he just didn’t have a serious relationship with a woman in sight and really wanted to be a daddy so he opted to do what many single woman do: Become a parent on his own terms.Family is a more fluid term than ever, and who needs society telling you what’s normal? Not me!
Either way, I love my Ricky and I know he’ll be a great daddy.

For a company that simply put out two different models of each of their two gaming consoles before Sony is really getting out of hand with all these different PS3 SKUs.
It was my belief that after E3 08 when Sony announced the price drop (and feature cut) 80GB PS3 was going to be their main SKU from then on I was happy. Sure it didn’t have PS2 BC but you know, who cares anymore. People cry and cry for PS2 backwards compatibility, yet how many use it? Now yes consider me a hypocrite as I did just recently buy Cabela’s Trophy Bucks for the PS2 and played it on my PS3. But if I had a BC-less PS3, I would never have bought nor have cared. I simply did because I spent $600 on the thing, damnt I want to ABUSE these features.
I don’t mind Sony, nor any other company [...]
seriously. that is my question to you. what does “awesomeness” look like?
now, i totally understand if you have to go think for a few minutes–come back, leave me a comment, and let me know what you come up with. but i honestly want to know… and maybe it came to you like a bolt of lightning or like a free lollipop from the bank. either way, please share with us here, @ cupalatte. we’d love to hear from you.
thank you.
Okay, even though I say this every time, I’m sorry. It’s been a month and a day since I last wrote a blog. There are valid reasons though, honest. I mean, not an awful lot happened between the last blog and my holiday, and I’ll say that I’ve been “recovering” from my holiday since I got back (ignore the irony there).
Yes, as the title suggests, I’ve been in France, the land of glorious cheese (from the 1st to the 15th) on holiday. And of course, I wasn’t going to get away without eating regional delicacies, even if I didn’t choose to. After a mid-day ferry crossing, we stopped at a hotel north of Evreux (west of Paris), with things getting off to a good start with the car being scratched by some Belgians and their bikes; not that it was noticeable or anything, but of course Mum has to go and make a [...]
